Following the closure of the expression of interest period on Monday 28th April, I am pleased to announce that appointments have been made to cover vacant positions on the Board. Both appointments were approved by the Board in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.
Director of Lady Members
Lilian Robbshaw has been appointed to fill the vacant Director of Ladies role. With strong professional experiences in the education industry, Lilian is committed to fostering a progressive and inclusive culture, ensuring robust leadership, enhancing participation, and championing best practices in decision-making. Lilian commenced membership at Melville Glades in 2022.
The Board looks forward to Lilian’s contributions in progressing the Club towards its strategic objectives.
Lilian will fill the role until it is next up for election at the 2027 AGM.
Director of Finance
Ian Russell has agreed to cover the Casual Vacancy on the Board as Director of Finance on an interim basis.
We will continue to seek qualified candidates to take on the role for the future. Should anyone have an interest in knowing more about the Director of Finance role please contact the General Manager or President.
